Press

Facts, the mark, and who to write to.

Everything a journalist needs about Samia Broadcast on one page, kept true. There are no audience numbers because there is no audience yet, no quotes we did not say, and nothing to preview because nothing has been released.

A drawn envelope with a sun-coloured flap and a red star seal, a dashed postmark stamped in the corner.

The mark

An S with a star
at its heart.

The star is the piercing star, the light at the centre of everything the house does. Use the files below as they are: ink on paper or paper on ink, with clear space the height of the S's top bar on every side, never smaller than 24 pixels.

The Samia mark: a heavy ink S with an eight-point star cut from its centre, on paper

Who to write to

Write to us.
No press line.

We answer press questions by email, in writing, so that what we said is what you have. There is no phone line and no press officer; the people who make the programmes answer.

[email protected]

Press questions, the mark, interview requests about Samia Broadcast itself, and anything that does not fit the other two.

[email protected]

Questions about a programme, a strand or an interview; suggestions for subjects; classroom and library use.

[email protected]

Errors in anything we have published, including this page. Corrections are logged where the mistake was, with the date.

We will provide

  • The facts above, and a written answer to any question about how a programme was made
  • The mark and the lockup, in the files above
  • Transcripts and source lists for any released programme, in full
  • The name of the person responsible for any programme

We will not provide

  • Audience figures, because there are none; when there are, they will be on the programme page, not in a press release
  • Quotes on behalf of the people who appear in programmes; ask them, and we will pass the request on
  • Previews or embargoed copies, because nothing has been released
  • Comment on other broadcasters or other companies

Release notes

Hear when the first
programme lands.

One email when a programme is released, and nothing else. The same note readers get; there is no separate press list.
